A little thing...
Spectral Colors came as the result of a discovery made at a time and in a place that couldn't actually be for real, but happened to exist.
I ran a studio there, really cool! And in this house called "Le Vaisseau", based in Paris France, a place where we used to live as many as several and all together, gathered in a creative common way. knowing each other with many activities
grooving on... Well done! the Milky Way!
Beside of working there as a sound engineer for some parties and recording sessions and for Le Cleub (
www.lecleub.org) I also digged the start of some new composition based on the attempt to try the definition of Colors...
What??? ? ? ? ?
And with the help of an easy present mate, Kris Sanchez with his folk guitar line, playing on the sofa... That little thing that pushed me to launch the trip for good in the studio, with all sequences and many instruments and finally a piano adaptation from that cool sofa riff.
Then the lyrics came out from the reading of a 1959 Scientific American magazine - quite instructive about the colors subject , and then, more unpredictable than ever, my inspiration streamed along this project. Super good friend: Mathias Durand (he's the guy from Broken Letters and "IT" ) joined me at a quite recent studio session and took that GO! for one mission:
- To complete the Spectral Colors song's guitars parts, left for almost more than a year and a half...
Untill now... So?
Mathias joined the party and played the eclectic-electric-hypnotic-guitaristic 6 strings, panning all along the song.
Let's say I will never be thankful enough to thank him very much for this awesome part.
